An encounter with Modica chocolate and the community that produces it.
Service Description
The Modica PGI chocolate experience is not just a discovery of the famous Ragusa product, but also of the community that produces it. We'll learn about a project that welcomes mothers and their children, helping them "restart" with a confectionery workshop, a shop, and a vacation home. Their products convey the history of the "Casa" and the region, and a story to share. The tours take place in the workshop and begin with the products created by the women guests of the Casa. We then move on to observing and learning about the production processes of Modica Chocolate, concluding with a sweet tasting.
