Food and wine culture
Sicily's food and wine heritage is one of the most appreciated in the world for the variety and quality of its crops, the goodness of its products and their processing, and above all for its cuisine.
Knowledge and flavors that come from an ancient multi-ethnic culture that has developed over time and continues to this day, rich in colors and tastes that intrigue the palate.
The experiences offered are based on field research to introduce travelers to and help them appreciate the food and wine of Sicily through slow food products and Sicilian designations of origin (DOS), with a keen eye also on new tropical crops.
Producers, chefs, and farmers will explain the olive harvest, how to cook pasta alla norma, and how ricotta is made, among many other stories about our food and wine.
You will have the opportunity to participate in a cooking class or the creation of a regenerative vegetable garden, depending on your interests.
