We will start from an ancient baglio, surrounded by the scents of the Sicilian countryside and the charm of a territory rich in history and charm. On our e-bikes, we will explore an itinerary that is not just a route through places, but a journey through time, to discover the legends and roots of our land. Led by an instructor of national interest, we will move along historic roads until we reach Castello Eufemio, an imposing fortress that dominates the valley and seems to have watched over these places for centuries. Its walls, sculpted by the winds and time, tell of epic battles and hidden mysteries: a symbol of resistance and indissoluble bonds with our history. Crossing the entrance portal, we will hear the echo of knights and warriors who once defended these lands, and we will immerse ourselves in an atmosphere suspended between myth and reality. From the fortress, we will head towards Pianto Romano, a land consecrated by history, where Garibaldi and the Thousand fought boldly for the unity of Italy. Here, the landscape opens up in an almost solemn silence: every stone, every tree, every breath of the wind seems to recall the sacrifice and determination of those who fought to unite the nation. Walking in this place is like touching history with your hand, paying homage to the courage of those who have contributed to building our present. The tour will continue with a visit to the Garibaldi Museum, which preserves precious relics, documents and uniforms that tell the story of the liberation and unification of Italy. Led by our instructor, we will walk through rooms full of memories, discovering objects that tell of challenges and victories, ideals and dreams. Each object in this museum brings us closer to the world of Garibaldi and his companions, offering us an authentic look at a past that still has much to teach us. At the end of this intense experience, we will return to the baglio for a tasting of typical local products, where the unmistakable taste of Sicily will make us feel even closer to the soul of this land. Each taste will be a tribute to the deep and genuine roots of our culture. Length: about 35 km. Difference in altitude: 800 m.
